True Media Announces Strategic Partnership with Sandbox

Sandbox Follows Collaborative Vision, Taps True Media as Expert Collaborator

January 21, 2019 (Kansas City, Mo.) — Since 2014, independent advertising agency Sandbox has grown its business through a collaboration-based, client-centered vision. On Jan. 1, 2019, Sandbox took that plan one-step further by formalizing its collaboration with media-services agency True Media. The strategic partnership allows Sandbox to deliver greater insight, scale and efficiency for clients through True Media’s specialized business model dedicated to media planning, buying, data aggregation and attribution modeling.

Though Sandbox and True Media remain separately owned companies, the firms have built a close relationship based on a common client-centered vision, shared media philosophy and integrated workflow. This side-by-side partnership between the agencies will serve clients in categories ranging from human and animal health to agriculture and consumer packaged goods.

As part of the agreement, members of the Sandbox media department have become employees of True Media and will continue to co-locate at Sandbox offices in Kansas City, MO, and Orange County, CA. The on-site employee placements and integrated cross-agency team structure will provide service continuity for clients while also ensuring Sandbox account teams have uninterrupted access to media expertise and resources.
