IABC ST. LOUIS ANNOUNCES TRUE MEDIA AS QUILL AWARD WINNER
ST. LOUIS, October 6, 2016 – True Media was honored with the St. Louis Quill Award of Merit for Social Media from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). The Columbia, MO based Media Buying Agency teamed with Nature’s Variety of St. Louis, and their marketing teams, to promote Long Live Pets.
Nature’s Variety Long Live Pets project inspired pet parents to adopt sheltered dogs by celebrating Day 1 of every rescued dog’s new life. Nature’s Variety collaborated with The Best Friends Animal Society to raise awareness of the millions of pets still awaiting their forever homes in shelters across the United States. The final outcome was over 20,000 photos submitted with 3.8 million views and a significant increase in awareness of Best Friend’s no kill-movement and the joys of pet adoption.
This was True Media’s first time entering the Quill Awards to showcase their media strategy and results. The Quill Awards recognize the best communication efforts in the region and is one of the most prestigious awards a communicator, designer, or marketing strategist can earn. IABC St. Louis celebrates those area professionals who executed marketing, communications, or public relations projects that help drive excellence.
“We are honored to have received this recognition and excited to see our efforts in social media and web-based promotions produce positive results for our clients,” said True Media CEO, Jack Miller. “As the world of media becomes more complex and fragmented, it is even more important that we deliver award-winning ideas that help break through the clutter. “
