COLUMBIA, MO. – (May 29, 2014) – True Media has been named media agency of record for Minneapolis-based, Minnesota Timberwolves, a National Basketball Association (NBA) franchise. True Media has previously handled several university level sports marketing programs, but the Timberwolves mark the first professional sports team on the growing media agency’s client portfolio.
As part of the partnership, True Media will work with Minneapolis-based agency, Human, who will handle all creative duties for the Timberwolves.  True Media will be tasked with developing the media and communication strategy, audience segmentation analysis, planning and buying for traditional, digital and social media channels and will manage the majority of the business from Minneapolis.
